Reverse DNS for the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses assigned to your VPS can be set up in our client area, under My Services. Select the particular VPS for which you want to change the rDNS records.
Configure reverse DNS for my IPv4 addresses
At the top of the page is a list of IPv4 addresses assigned to the VPS. By clicking on the hostname, it can be modified.
Configure reverse DNS for my IPv6 addressesTo adjust reverse DNS for your IPv6 addresses, go to the buttons under "VPS Information" and click "Reverse DNS". Here you will see an overview of the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. In this section you cannot create reverse DNS records for IPv4, only for IPv6.
Select the IPv6 address for which you want to create a reverse DNS record. At "domain name" enter your desired rDNS record, then click the "Add Reverse DNS" button and your rDNS record is created.
- Do you have an IPv6 subnet? Then make sure you have created a separate IPv6 address (you can do this under Settings > Manage IPv6 subnets > Create IPv6 addresses)
